Ronald C. Kysiak, FM HLM

Ronald C. Kysiak is a Principal Consultant for Diane Lupke & Associates, Inc. Mr. Kysiak has been an economic development professional for 40 years, most of which has been spent in non-profit, technology-based economic development – particularly in the creation and support of early-stage companies.

Mr. Kysiak was responsible for the planning and development of the Science Park at Yale, including a technology incubator; and the planning and development of the Northwestern University / Evanston Research Park.

In addition, Mr. Kysiak has been a consultant on research parks, incubators, and technology transfer, i.e., Marquette University, University of New Hampshire, University of Pennsylvania, University of Calgary, Milwaukee County, State of Michigan EDC, Hershey Medical Center, and City of South Bend. He has also provided consultant services to organizations and universities in Eastern and Central Europe on developing entrepreneurship through technology transfer and university incubators. In Texas working with IDEA Partnerships, he evaluated the Texas A&M Research Park, including its Innovation Systems, its Place Strategies, and its Business Model as a basis for creating an overall knowledge-based strategy for a Regional Innovation System.

Prior to his work in technology-based development, Mr. Kysiak was the Economic Development Director for both the cities of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and New Haven, Connecticut. In these roles, he focused on economic development strategies for revitalization and development of distressed cities.
